BREAKING NEWS – COVID19 UPDATE
The WA Government has declared a State of Emergency for Western Australia. Effective from 6pm tonight until Friday 6pm, Perth metropolitan area, Peel and South West regions will enter a 5-day lockdown.
Interchange has been planning for this risk and have implemented our Lockdown Plan. Disability supports are an essential service and therefore Interchange will continue service delivery during the lockdown period.
Interchange will continue to provide essential services to people who need our support and our main priority is the safety and wellbeing of our customers, staff and the general community. Based on the current government health advice our supports will need to be restricted to:
- 1 hour of exercise
- Essential appointments
- Essential shopping
- Supporting people in their own home
- Distance support via phone or online
Our staff follow the lockdown restrictions in place, will be wearing masks as government requests, will observe physical distancing and practice good personal hygiene.
If you have been to one of the high risk locations below please let us know immediately as you may be required to do a COVID19 test:
- Maylands
- Midland
- Morley
- Joondalup
- Perth City
- Cloverdale
- Nedlands
- North Perth
- Ascot
- Burswood
