Stay Home. Stay Connected. Stay Safe.

We know these are tough and uncertain times however we want to ensure you we are here for you! Disability Services are classified as essential services so we will be continuing to provide you with the support you need to stay safe and connected during this COVID Lockdown.

Following announcements, we can confirm that the WA Government has declared a State of Emergency for Western Australia. Effective from 12.01 am Tuesday, 29 June 2021 Perth metro area and Peel region will move to a 4-day lockdown, ending at 12.01 am Saturday, 3 July.

To reduce the risk of infection from COVID-19 Interchange had already implemented physical distancing recommendations, one on one services and strict guidelines for our employees. However, we are currently putting measures in place to further protect the health of the people interacting with us and minimizing the chances of spreading the virus.

Our main priority is the safety and wellbeing of our customers, employees, and the general community. Based on the current government health advice our supports will need to be restricted to:

  • 1 hour of exercise outside of the home
  • Essential appointments
  • Essential shopping
  • Supporting people in their own home
  • Distance support via phone or online

Our employees follow the lockdown restrictions in place, will be wearing masks as requested by the government request, will observe physical distancing and practice good personal hygiene.

We know there are specific sites that are classified as high-risk locations you can find these here https://healthywa.wa.gov.au/Articles/A_E/Coronavirus/Locations-visited-by-confirmed-cases. If you have been to any of these areas, please follow the WA government directions.
