It’s been tough and uncertain times for Western Australians this week fighting hardships on two fronts – the devastating bushfires and the COVID-19 Pandemic.
After 5 days of full lockdown, WA has recorded no new COVID-19 cases and the Premier announced the end of the lockdown for 6pm tonight. However, some restrictions will stay in place at this time.
This means from Monday February 8 we will return to normal support hours and arrangements following the government guidelines (please see further restrictions in the graphic below) :
- Everyone must continue to wear a mask in public and while at work, unless exempt or for outdoor vigorous exercise. We also have masks available for you should you need one.
- Practice physical distancing, wherever possible.
- Maintain good personal hygiene.
If there are any changes you would like to make to your supports, please contact our Scheduling team on 6323 0884.
Our main priority continues to be the safety and wellbeing of our customers, staff and the general community. All Interchange staff follow government guidelines and we would like to ask you to do the same. Everyone needs to do their part in keeping our communities safe.
If you feel unwell or show any COVID related symptoms, please let us know and get tested immediately. If you need a mask when we are providing you a service we can supply a disposable mask for you, just let us know.
Look after yourselves and each other. Stay safe!
