We Think You Are Awesome – Jinny

Main Content
Jinny in New York. She loves to explore the world.

Meet Jinny our phenomenal Belmont/Maddington Neighbourhood Support Worker.

Jinny moved to Australia 11 years ago from Thailand and loves to capture the world through the viewfinder of her camera. She has her own YouTube channel where she shares bits and bobs about her life, her travels and what it means to live, work and study in Perth.

Her mum and sister are the two people she can always count on and who mean the world to her. They give her the best support.

For over six years, Jinny is a truly appreciated Interchanger and part of the Maddington/Belmont Neighbourhood. In all those years she was able to collect lots of knowledge and gain experience and has taken the opportunity to be an acting Team Leader as well as being Peer Mentor.

I really like to do 1:1 support so I can spend more quality time focusing on a person’s goal and achievement.

Empowerment is Jinny’s favorite Interchange value.

Empowering people with disability is making them understand that their life is in their control – something that is truly powerful. I enjoy supporting customers to make their own choices and create their life the way they want it.

Jinny’s life motto is: Don’t try to compete or compare yourself to others. Just be your best self!

Thank you, Jinny. We think you are awesome!

Our awesome staff bring passion and commitment to their vital roles. We think they are amazing – but the best feedback is always the one coming directly from you.
