“I knew I wanted to help people!” Kirrily our Maddington Team Leader says, is the reason she stepped foot into the disability sector. She receives a sense of fulfillment from looking out for people, empowering customers, their families and advocating for her team. Especially the mentoring and guidance for her team at Interchange, is what makes her thrive and motivates her every day. Since 2012, she is part of our Interchange team – and we are grateful!
Respect is one the most important core values, not only in the disability sector but everywhere and all the time – it is simple, you just need it in life.
The trust she receives from her team in her leading abilities, inspires Kirrily. She does not only see her job as your average workplace but as a place where she passes on her knowledge and gets rewarded by the people her team supports, when achieving their goals. Her team as well as of course her close friends and family are of upmost importance to her. She has a positive nature and strongly believes in karma.
Someone she can always count on are Rockingham Team Leader Jazz and Peer Mentor in Belmont, Frida. They have an amazing team spirit.
We all started together, and I always really appreciate their point of views, their guidance and trust.
If she isn’t at Interchange supporting people with disability to live a good life, she is at the beach, hiking or on the hunt for a good restaurant. Any recommendations?
