Nearly two years ago, our lovely Support Worker Maree Brittian joined Team Interchange and she is stoked by how far she has come since.

I have learnt so much in my time as a Support Worker and come along way. I have more confidence and knowledge to be able to help the people I support with their goals and successes.

Working with Interchange has come natural to Maree as she wholeheartedly believes in our values: Empowerment, Respect, Individuality and Belonging. Working alongside these values, is what made Maree choose to work in the disability sector in the first place.

My passion is to help people and this job gives me the chance to do so. I love to assist the people I support to get out in the community and support their inclusion.

And we think you are awesome because of it it! If Maree is not busy loving life as a Support Worker, she likes to spend time with the ones she loves and also does not mind a good snooze. Being happy is the most important thing to her.

Maree’s message regarding people with disability or as a matter of fact every person is, to treat people as you would want to be treated, which goes hand in hand with her motto and life inspiration. Maree feels very content and finds herself in a good place in her life – she is excited to see what the future holds for her and so are we.
