Sharon – A Champion of Quality and Improvement at Interchange 

Sharon’s dedication and outstanding work have truly stood out. Her strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement has made a meaningful impact, earning her well-deserved recognition through our iThink You Are Awesome awards. 

What drives Sharon is her desire to make a difference. She finds motivation in seeing the positive outcomes of her efforts in the lives of the people Interchange supports. 

Over the past two years at Interchange, one of the things Sharon has valued most is the strong sense of teamwork. For her, collaboration is at the heart of the work we do. 

Respect is the value that guides Sharon most. She believes it is the foundation of everything—shaping how she connects with others and approaches her role. 

Outside of work, Sharon leads a vibrant and active life. She is deeply involved in the WA amateur photography scene, serving as President of the Northam Photography Group and Treasurer of the WA Photographic Federation. Her photography passions include landscapes, architecture, and abstract imagery—an art form she loves for its endless opportunities to learn and grow (see some beautiful snapshots below). Photography also plays a big part in her travel plans, with recent trips to Tasmania and New Zealand. Check out the amazing snapshots below! 

Another of Sharon’s passions is dancing—she took up Lindy Hop two years ago and enjoys the energy and joy of dancing to big band music. She is also an avid gardener, home improver, gym-goer, walker, and yogi. On top of all that, she founded a book club that is still going strong after 16 years. 

Sharon’s passion, energy, and commitment make her a true asset to the Interchange team.
